GREETINGS!

Welcome to the Missionary Connection Supply Room (M.C. Room-for short). Many churches have missions, or benevolence closets, maintaining stocks of food, clothing, and other needed essentials to help the needy and provide assistance to missionaries. Our purpose is not only following the standard format of supplying the basic goods, as mentioned above, but expanding, developing, and continually upgrading an existing inventory of items needed abroad, as well as, at home.

Founded in the fall of 2002, Fellowship embarked on an exciting adventure of offering help to the real heroes in the world-our missionaries. Over the course of time, God has been gracious to us and allowed us to expand. We give praise to Him. Each expansion has been an upgrade to a larger facility, with an increase in supplies. As mentioned above, our focus is diligence in maintaining a first-class organization and serving those who serve our Lord.

Below are some key points we’ve not only developed, and have learned by experience, but have proven helpful in providing assistance to our missionaries:

  • We contact missionaries directly. This can be by letter, e-mail, fax, or phone. Our annual Missionary Conference is an excellent way to meet some of them and determine their needs.
  • This minimizes third and fourth party communication helping to eliminate confusion when providing assistance.
  • During missionary conferences, our guests are escorted to the MC. Room where they are free to take whatever supplies they need. This can be while on furlough in the U.S. , or to take with them for their soon return to their fields of service.

We’ve listed a number of items available in the MC. Room. We’ll try to be as inclusive as possible but the members or Fellowship Baptist Church , in addition to other resources, allow us to constantly bring in different and varied supplies. However, most of what is listed here is always in our inventory. By the way, if there’s a need and we don’t have it, we’ll do our best to get it for you.

Supply List:

Personal items: Soap, shampoo, crème rinse, razors (men and women), shave cream, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc.

Medical supplies: Aspirin, Tylenol, band-aides, antibiotic ointments, skin care products, etc.

Arts and Crafts: We carry a large supply of paints (water-based), glue (non-toxic), glitter, paint brushes, stencils, rub-ons, iron-ons, books and instructional aides, crayons, etc.

School supplies: Pens, pencils, paper, composition books, binders, educational materials, Sunday school curriculum (in limited amounts), etc.

Phone cards

Gum, mints, candy (hard), etc.

Some food supplies, mostly snack type cakes, cookies, nuts, trail mix, etc. We try to monitor this closely so as to keep things fresh.

Small hardware type items such as heavy-duty tape, glue, nails, screws, some tool kits, etc.

New children’s clothing and shoes in limited amounts. We have access to adult clothing-used, but in good condition-pants, shirts, jackets, suits ,etc. Be specific when requesting.

Various other items, from costume jewelry, to inflatable tire kits. Our goal is to try to keep things on hand that missionaries can use in the field. Often, some of the things we take for granted in the United States are either difficult to obtain, to expensive, or cost prohibitive because of customs restrictions, etc.

We also will try to send specific study materials if you let us know of your request.

You’ll notice that our inventory is limited to smaller items, and things we believe reflect our missionaries’ most urgent needs, or desires. Perhaps in the future we will be able to send, or help provide items on a larger scale.

We hope to hear from you soon. God bless your work in the Lord.
