JOINING FELLOWSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH
There are three ways in which you may become a member of Fellowship Baptist Church:
By Profession of Faith and Believer’s Baptism
Once you have been saved, that is, you have realized that you are lost in sin and unbelief (Romans 3:10, 23), that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has paid the penalty for your sin by dying on the cross of Calvary and rising from the dead (Romans 5:8, 6:23) and have personally placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior (Romans 10:9-13), you may join Fellowship Baptist Church by professing your faith in Jesus Christ in any worship service of the church and following the Lord in believer’s baptism.
By Statement of Faith and Believer’s Baptism
If you have previously been saved and baptized in a Baptist church, but a record of your church memebership is unavailable due to particular circumstances, you may join Fellowship Baptist Church by making a public statement to these facts (your salvation and baptism in a Baptist church) in any worship service of the church.
By Transfer of Membership
If you have previously been saved and baptized in a Baptist church and a record of your current church membership can be obtained, you may join Fellowship Baptist Church by promise of a letter from your former church in any worship service of the church. The Church Clerk of Fellowship Baptist will be responsible to write the former church where your letter is on record.
